STIHL TIMBERSPORTS® is excited to announce the complete schedule of national and international events for the 2025 season as The Original Extreme Sport celebrates 40 years of ‘axe-treme’ action.

After an electric weekend of World Championships axe-tion in Toulouse last year, STIHL TIMBERSPORTS® has today confirmed that the 2025 edition will take place in Milan, Italy, on Friday 24th and Saturday 25th October. It will be the first time the most prestigious competition in elite logger sports will be held on Italian soil.

STIHL TIMBERSPORTS® TV highlights from the 2024 season are now available, so that fans can enjoy all of this year’s action from The Original Extreme Sport.

USA’s Nate Hodges claimed his first STIHL TIMBERSPORTS® Individual World Championship title with a PB-fueled performance in front of a sold-out and passionate crowd of more than 5,000 fans at the Zénith Toulouse Métropole in the South of France. A new winner of the global crown was guaranteed with no previous World Champions in the field.

Team Australia set back-to-back world records on the way to winning an unbelievable fifth consecutive STIHL TIMBERSPORTS® Team World Championship – and their ninth in total. The Chopperoos defeated Team USA in the final, on a noisy night of first class logger sports axe-tion at a packed and passionate Zénith Toulouse Métropole in the South of France
