Roaring chainsaws and flying axes kicked off a high-octane weekend at the STIHL TIMBERSPORTS® 2025 U.S. Championships, a climactic celebration of the sport’s 40th anniversary season. Packed with fierce competition and history-making moments, the Championships saw Nate Hodges and Erin LaVoie successfully defend their national titles – each making history with world record-setting performances, with LaVoie setting two new marks and Hodges breaking one of the sport’s most elite records.
The 2025 Italian Championship of STIHL TIMBERSPORTS® concluded on Sunday with the victory of athlete Michel Perrin in the PRO category, triumphing over the eleven strongest Italian athletes in the circuit.

STIHL TIMBERSPORTS® is excited to announce the complete schedule of national and international events for the 2025 season as The Original Extreme Sport celebrates 40 years of ‘axe-treme’ action.
After an electric weekend of World Championships axe-tion in Toulouse last year, STIHL TIMBERSPORTS® has today confirmed that the 2025 edition will take place in Milan, Italy, on Friday 24th and Saturday 25th October. It will be the first time the most prestigious competition in elite logger sports will be held on Italian soil.
